Application approval (published) and request
Approved apps and unapproved apps
On VRoid Hub, applications published on https://hub.vroid.com/apps are considered to be approved applications, while those that are not published on the above page are considered to be unapproved applications.
While developers are free to create their own unapproved applications, for an application to receive approval, it must be subjected to an inspection by the VRoid Team.
The main difference between the two is detailed below.
The following warning is displayed when the end user uses an unapproved application.
Unapproved applications are limited to the following models that can be loaded from the VRoid Hub.
- Models uploaded by players themselves
- Models authorized for download by the contributor
- For unapproved application, a per-application rate limit applies when making requests to the VRoid Hub API.
About rate limits
On VRoid Hub, each unapproved application and each user are subjected to individual rate limits.
- If the rate limit is exceeded when making requests, the response
429 TOO_MANY_REQUESTS
will be returned. - If you exceed the rate limit, please wait a few minutes, then make the request again.
